Potential-pH Equilibrium Diagrams for the Fe - H2O System at Temperatures up to 300°C, by Xi-Zhen YANG

The author compiled many thermodynamic data published for the Fe-H2O system and made a comprehensive critical analysis of their relevancy and consequences. This work provides a new reliable thermodynamic frame for the important Fe-H2O system. E-pH diagrams are presented for 25, 100, 200 and 300 °C. Also, the alpha ferric oxide (goethite) and the gamma ferric oxide (lepidocrocite) are included in the diagrams presented.
